The Governor laid out a "Nevada United Roadmap to Recovery" plan to reopen the state. Nevada entered Phase 1 – Battle Born Beginning – on May 9, 2020, under Emergency Directive 018. Nevada entered Phase 2 under Emergency Directive 021 on May 29, 2020. The Governor announced Phase 2 will continue through July.
The following non-essential businesses shall remain closed during Phase Two of the Nevada United: Roadmap to Recovery plan: Nightclubs, Day clubs, Brothels, Live sporting events and live performances with spectators. Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced bars, pubs, taverns, distilleries, breweries, and wineries that don’t serve food in certain Nevada counties must close. Bars may reopen in Lander, Lyon and Humboldt counties effective immediately.
Governor Sisolak announced that anyone in any public space throughout the State, including visitors, will need to wear a mask. This includes using public transportation, public facing work environments, when patronizing businesses, or interacting with others in any generally publicly accessible space.
